Anne Farrall Doyle : Original work
Anne was born and educated in Cheshire, England where she studied at Stockport College of Art.
After Art College Anne worked in an advertising agency in Manchester where she began her career as an illustrator gaining a wide reputation as a Figurative and Fashion Artist. During this time she lived and worked in Spain, Paris, Munich and Los Angeles, a love of travelling taking her to many countries.
Eventually Anne moved to St. Ives, Cornwall to concentrate on her painting, moving in time to Sussex, where amongst other things she opened an Art Department at the Pestalozzi School teaching children from Nepal, Tibet and India.
By 1996 she moved to Ireland, living in the countryside with her animals, enjoying the piece and solitude. Travelling widely around Ireland, she gained inspiration for her paintings. Whilst the countryside has always been an inspiration, she was also intent on people lost in private moments, musical bars, horse fairs and the inevitable joyous occasions.
Now living in Devon, Anne’s work is largely influenced by beaches, here and in Brittany, and the Devon countryside.
