Sarah Jackson : Limited Editions

Sarah grew up by the Cornish coast, and had a childhood filled with nature, wildlife and adventure. All of which helped to instil many of the values which she now holds for animals and our natural world, and which is today reflected in her artwork.

Her work is created using recycled magazines – reinforcing the eco-conscious ethos of her work – and her use of collage as a medium has developed to create a paint-like quality, which is often mistaken for just that on first impression.

After graduating from Falmouth University in 2011 with a degree in Illustration, Sarah began working as a freelance editorial illustrator with commissions from The Wall Street Journal, German Wings airline and Starbucks. At the same time she began working on personal projects, expanding her portfolio and selling her artwork through a number of galleries, during which time her innovative use of collage quickly found popularity.
