Jean May Parsons
Jean works mainly in acrylic and watercolour, but over the years has used most mediums reflecting primarily her love of colour. Early inspiration came from a trip to Venice, where she was overwhelmed, by the beauty of the architecture reflected in water. Since the early days her subject matter has broadened considerably, though the influence of Venice with its richness and decorative designs are still apparent.
Jean's paintings are in collections both in this country and abroad. Her paintings are in numerous galleries in the UK, and she has had many solo, and mixed exhibitions.
